Shiba Inu’s mysterious figurehead Shytoshi Kusama revealed that the team is gearing up for a new release that will showcase the next addition to its ecosystem.
Moreover, this isn’t any ordinary release, and according to the lead developer will encompass the best-decentralized protocols and include elements like governance, real-life applications [IRL], MV, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence [AI], and Decentralized Autonomous Organizations [DAOs].
Kusama also issued a warning to “fudders,” or individuals disseminating false and unfavorable information about the Shiba Inu project, in the Telegram thread, saying:
“For you fudders: You will be completely rekt,” adding that he has learned to speak less and show more, a strategy he intends to keep using as the project encounters more challenges.
Without giving further information, Kusama stated that the upcoming “Something is Coming” trailer is expected to debut in the first few days of July.
Given that he advised users to refer to his earlier Vitalik Buterin tweet, it is not difficult to infer from his message that the cryptic groundbreaking offering is connected to Shiba Inu’s layer 2 protocol Shibarium.
In the June 10 post, Kusama made a comparison of Buterin’s scaling solutions for Ethereum to Shiba Inu Woofpaper v2.
Shiba Inu’s Next Big Update On Shibarium
The WoofPaper v2 is Shiba Inu’s version of a whitepaper, which outlines the technological details of the Shiba ecosystem as well as some future projects.
Kusama’s response to Buterin’s article was that the Shiba Inu ecosystem already has solutions to these issues- in the form of Shibarium, the upcoming layer-2 network for Shiba Inu.
According to him, layer-2 networks, such as Shibarium, act as a second layer for layer-1 blockchains, like Ethereum, and help L1s by taking up some of the work [transactions] on the blockchain, so lightening their burden.
Besides, Shibarium brings high-grade security for users by combining PoS validators and the Plasma framework.
Moreover, Shibarium also has the potential to alleviate users’ privacy worries. This might be done by integrating Bermuda, a blockchain solution that prioritizes privacy.
While these might be methods Shibarium responds to the issues Buterin identified, it remains to be seen if Kusama referred to more effective solutions described in early versions of an unpublished Woofpaper version.
