Shiba Inu’s Puppynet continues its meteoric rise as the number of interacting wallet addresses on Shibarium has neared almost 14 million, the latest data from puppyscan revealed.
Puppynet, an early beta version of the memetoken’s layer-2 network, Shibarium. On March 11, 2023, the beta testnet went live.
A few weeks after the launch, the Shibarium testnet recorded nearly 3 million transactions in 324,129 blocks with 5.0 seconds of block time.
Prominent Shiba Inu influencer Lucie also shared that Shibarium testnet PuppyNet has already deployed 71 tokens built on Shibarium.
As per data from puppyscan then, the total number of registered addresses on the Shibarium testnet has also jumped to over 365k, marking a whopping 78% increase from the number of addresses as of March 31st.
The announcement coincides with the mainnet’s forthcoming launch for Shibarium. As a result of project leader Shytoshi Kusama’s hint about the anticipated launch date, SHIB supporters are currently thrilled.
As reported by TronWeekly, Kusama recently spoke on Shibarium as well as upcoming projects in the meme token ecosystem in a rare interview.
This suggests that the community may anticipate having access to the layer-2 scaling solution this year, much to the pleasure of the Shib army.
As per the Shiba Inu developer, the layer-2 protocol may ultimately be implemented in “two to four months. “We are moving faster than we did previously,” he added.
In related news, the 14th-ranked token, Shiba Inu, has surged to the top of Google searches in Turkey over the past three months, indicating its huge popularity.
The popular meme coin has even outperformed crypto heavyweights like Ethereum [ETH], Cardano [ADA], and Solana. Google Trends data showed that with a score of 100, Turkish individuals’ search results account for the largest portion of the market share.
