Shiba Inu’s principal developer Shytoshi Kusama has shared a cryptic tweet saying the “initial design approved” without specifying further details. Kusama then ended with the following, “Let the debris show itself as the flow of kindness and truth washes over the world.”
Community members were left speculating as to what the lead dev meant. Many of them felt that this was related to Shiba Inu’s highly anticipated layer-2 network Shibarium. However, the SHIB developer remained tightlipped, at the time of writing this post.
Overall, the reaction of the community has been optimistic, despite the vague tweet.
The team planned to launch the project in Q3 of this year but had to postpone due to development delays.
As expectations rose, about a trillion SHIB tokens were recently transferred by whales, data from Etherscan revealed.
Digging deeper, it has been found that the large holder simply moved more than half of this sum between his other wallets. The remainder of this enormous SHIB sum was divided into two parts and sold.
At the current SHIB/USD conversion rate, the total equivalent of the transferred SHIB amount is over $9 million. The largest transfer, according to Etherscan, saw the Binance exchange moving 485 billion SHIB from one of its wallets to another.
The whale who acquired them all transferred them from Binance to a cold wallet totaling 100 billion According to Etherscan, 190 billion meme coins were transferred to the Crypto.com exchange to be sold.
Shiba Inu’s Upcoming Projects
The Shiba Inu account unveiled a Shibarium Layer 2 protocol official Twitter account on November 5. 24.500 people have already joined since its recent introduction.
According to the SHIB team, this profile will eventually turn into a focal point for everything Shibarium. The head developer of SHIB, Shytoshi Kusama, refuses to comment on the expected release date of Shibarium and only responds to inquiries about it occasionally by posting “soon.”
The SHIB burn rate also increased by an astounding 5,800% last weekend.
Along with the next layer 2, the SHIB team is also developing a stablecoin called Shi and a new incentive token called TREAT.
Again, no release date has been announced for any currency. SHIB is also putting effort into its SHIB: The Metaverse metaverse endeavor. The development team often releases concept art for the virtual environment.
