Kronos’ Shiba Inu Payment: First Public Firm to Embrace SHIB,10% Users Discount

In a bold stride forward, Kronos Advanced Technologies Inc., a leader in air purification, announced it will now accept Shiba Inu (SHIB) cryptocurrency for its products. This makes Kronos the first public company in the United States to embrace SHIB as a payment method. The news came in a recent filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

This move by Kronos signals a significant shift in the e-commerce landscape. By incorporating Shiba Inu, the company aims to offer a seamless and secure transaction process for the burgeoning community of crypto users. With approximately 1.38 million SHIB wallet holders, this development could be a game-changer.

Greg Rubin, CEO of Kronos, shared his enthusiasm for the new payment option. He emphasized that this decision aligns with their mission to meet growing customer demands. Rubin stated,

“We are excited to be the first public company to accept SHIB for our air purification products.”

To celebrate this milestone, Kronos is offering a special promotion. Customers using SHIB to purchase an air purifier will receive a 10% discount with the code SHIBArmy10. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to include various cryptocurrencies in their payment options.

Kronos, Shiba Inu and Crypto

Kronos has previously shown its commitment to digital currencies. It was the first publicly traded company to accept Dogecoin (DOGE) and other cryptocurrencies for its products. The acceptance of SHIB is another step in their journey of innovation.

Shiba Inu’s adoption as a payment method is gaining traction in various industries. The xPortal app, operating on the MultiversX blockchain, now includes SHIB in its list of crypto assets available for its card service. Users can top up their cards with Shiba Inu and spend it instantly.

Moreover, Amoré Orthodontic Aligners, a U.S. dental firm, recently started accepting Shiba Inu for its services. Patients can now use SHIB to pay for braces, retainers, and other orthodontic treatments.

In May, BlockDAG, a blockchain technology company, expanded its payment options to include Shiba Inu, Bitcoin, XRP, and Cardano, among others. This growing acceptance of Shiba Inu across different sectors highlights its rising importance in the digital economy.

Kronos Advanced Technologies’ adoption of Shiba Inu as a payment method not only underscores their commitment to innovation but also sets a precedent for other public companies. This move marks a new chapter in the integration of cryptocurrency in mainstream commerce.
