ChatGPT has finally caught Cardano Founder Charles Hoskinson’s attention as he recently shared a video of a medical doctor who spoke about the former’s potential in the medical sector.
Although Hoskinson said nothing further, it’s clear how the crypto community is getting slowly hooked on this latest buzz.
The remarkable AI capabilities of ChatGPT gained widespread attention in late 2022 and early 2023. This chatbot attracts millions of users who utilize it for a variety of purposes.
Since there are no limits to AI invention, its potential to transform a leading PoS blockchain like Cardano, which places a strong focus on innovation, is significantly greater.
For those who are unfamiliar, ChatGPT is an AI chatbot created by the AI research company OpenAI in November 2022. It made headlines after its debut and is touted to b a game-changer.

Cardano Linked Project Leverage AI
Another notable example of AI integration is the decentralized cloud computing platform, iExec, which too leverages AI and blockchain technology to provide a secure platform for running DApps that require high computing power.
Even the Cardano-affiliated project SingularityNet is working towards creating a decentralized, secure, and accessible AI network. The project focuses on enabling global AI distribution and providing an AI-as-a-Service marketplace.
That said, in a video broadcast on March 29. Hoskinson shared five things that, that he believes, will either make or break – humanity in the 21st century.
Interestingly, the first on the list was AI where he said that it should be, “no surprise to anybody (…) because this is the first time we’ve been able to extend our cognition to the point where we have synthetic cognition at a global scale that’s growing and evolving at a very fast pace.”
