The highly anticipated Play-to-Earn (P2E) collectible card game from the Shiba Inu ecosystem, Shiba Eternity, is inching closer to launch. Lucie, the marketing lead for Shiba.io, has taken to X (formerly Twitter) to tease new details about the upcoming game.
Lucie stated that Shiba Eternity would launch on Shibarium- the Shiba Inu blockchain. $TREAT tokens, the ecosystem’s reward token, can be earned by players when they participate in the game; to do so, users are required to have Shiboshis– the Shiba Inu ecosystem’s unique non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
Shiba Eternity will largely depend on Shiboshis, digital collectible puppies. These act as in-game assets that add a personal touch and give access to particular features, levels, and activities when held. Additionally, in reward-generating quests and activities, Shiboshis are mandatory if one is to earn $TREAT tokens.
Another token, $SHEB, associated with Sheboshis (Shiboshi breeders), will also come into play. Lucie hinted that $SHEB tokens, combined with Shiboshis, could lead to the creation of new puppies, potentially including the highly sought-after DN404 Shiboshi.
Shiba Inu Ecosystem’s Focus on Dynamic NFT Economy
Including Shiboshis in Shiba Eternity demonstrates the commitment of the Shiba Inu ecosystem to fostering a vibrant NFT economy. This will encourage collectors and players to diversify their holdings through limited edition and rare Shiboshis thus offering additional benefits or privileges to them. Additionally, every transaction on Shiba Eternity will require payments using $BONE with a minor burn of $SHIB tokens, thus further improving the economics of the ecosystem.
Nevertheless, the Shiba Inu community anticipates the advent of Shiba Eternity, which will easily integrate NFTs, gaming, and the Shiba Inu ecosystem on the Shibarium chain. This game has unique tokenomics and uses Shiboshis (Shibas). It is expected to change the level of user participation and value creation within the Shiba Inu metaverse.
Although there’s no official launch date yet, but now seems pretty much complete. Lately, Mazrael, a Shiba Inu community member, revealed that Shiba Eternity got updated with a new patch; this means they fixed all remaining bugs and are preparing for their next step, which is beta launch.
