Shiba Inu Tokens have always been purchased by whales, but it has been a long time since a new whale made such a huge purchase. A new whale has today spent 34,884,451.00 USD on 3,388,119,788,000 Shiba Inu Tokens.
Whales appear to be purchasing SHIB as we get closer to the debut of Shibarium, with predictions of Shib Burns accelerating once it is released.
Shibarium will be the most important burn mechanism in the Shiba Inu Ecosystem, but investors are looking at the big picture as well. Even the new Shiba Eternity game, which was not supposed to include burns at first, is now introducing a burning system.
Shiba Inu price drop?
On October 18, Shiba Inu (SHIB) came perilously near to losing the crucial $0.000010 mark as it fell as low as $0.00001007. SHIB was trading at $0.00001006 at the time of publishing, down 3.39% over the previous day.
A further decline from the present price might result in the addition of another zero to SHIB’s price as it tests the $0.000009 level and approaches the $0.0000092 low from October 13. The situation was different a year ago when SHIB finished a bullish pennant that reached an all-time high of $0.000088 on October 28, 2021.
Global markets have generally had a difficult year in 2022 due to a broad breakdown. Gokhstein thinks that meme cryptocurrencies like SHIB, which have low values, may eventually draw new retail purchasers into the market since the crypto industry needs new customers.
Shiba Inu in for a global acceptance?
In a recent tweet, BitPay announced that the German software company SAP SE has chosen it to handle payroll payments for its employees. Along with well-known cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum, BitPay now supports Shiba Inu and Dogecoin, two well-known meme tokens.
Five companies chosen by the German software giant are discussed in a blog post that was posted on the SAP SE website (a panel of its experts, customers, partners, etc). On this list is BitPay, which will start paying SAP SE workers a portion of their income in cryptocurrencies like Shiba Inu and other major cryptocurrencies.
